December 22, 2025 update:

Exciting news for 2026 outdoor play at Alpine.

The FTF team negotiated these improvements:

We were short hours at Alpine.  Done! we go from 498 to 592 total hours

We had evening and weekend issues for our under 65's. Fixed! We got a 133% increase at weekend

Many members did not like the different number of courts for some sessions, and their location. Fixed! We get exclusive 8 courts, the public only gets those 8 courts after 3pm on weekend.

Even with 8 courts instead of 10, we still increase midweek hours, and we no longer have to give up courts to schools. 

A letter from the City confirmed the following changes, exclusively for the 2026 Outdoor Season:    (We were working under the 2023 negotiated schedule up until this fall)

• Weekdays: Access to courts 1–4 and 9–12  during all court operating hours.

• Weekends: Access to courts 1–4 and 9–12 between the hours of 8am and 3pm.

Tournament considerations remain unchanged from the 2023 season schedule , and

work to include outdoor courts as a citywide bookable amenity remains a department

priority.
