Indoor Facility plans

SAPC is working towards having its own indoor facility.

SAPC seeks to negotiate and enter into a five to ten year renewable lease for a building that will accommodate four to six pickleball courts, with the lease not exceeding $ 140,000 per year and Operations and Maintenance not exceeding $ 60,000.

The FTF is charged with planning and executing the installation of courts and other improvements, net cost to the club after, grants expected to be $ 50,000 - $125,000, covered by the Facility Reserve Fund.

The FTF will apply fors a matching CEFP grant for $125,000 from the Province of Alberta to offset the cost installing pickleball courts and other improvements in the building. T

The FTF will seek a capital grant from the City of St Albert and explore other grants and sponsorships to further offset the costs of the project.

It was also decided that the Facility Reserve Fund of the Club can be used as working capital, until the grants are received.
